香茅烤豬肉夾心
Charcoal-grilled lemongrass pork in a crisp Vietnamese baguette, with cilantro, red chili and pickled daikon.
Vietnamese home flavors, baked fresh into every baguette, every day.
Lee Bánh Mì was born in Shilin, Taipei. To recreate the home flavors she remembered, founder Hsin-Yen traveled to Vietnam and trained in classes every day for months, bringing that authentic taste back to Taiwan — then gently tuning it to local palates, a little less sweet, a little less salty.
Crisp outside, tender within, layered with pâté, butter and Vietnamese pickles, filled with char-grilled meat and fresh herbs from our own garden. A cup of Vietnamese coffee and a warm bánh mì — we want every guest who walks in to keep a moment that's wholesome, delicious and unhurried.

“In Vietnam, where he spoke not a word of the language, my father handed a baguette to a hungry stranger. That kindness became the very reason Lee Bánh Mì opened.”
Over twenty years ago, mother Hong-Jin came from Vietnam to marry in Taiwan, a familiar new-immigrant face in the Shilin neighborhood. Opening a Vietnamese restaurant to share her home flavors with more people was a wish she always held close.
Her daughter Hsin-Yen, raised in Taiwan, kneaded the first dough to make that wish come true. Today mother and daughter run the shop side by side — Lee Bánh Mì is a letter written home, signed with the Lee family name.
